First off what an upset in that Germany game, congrats to Serbia. Serbia is the first team to beat Germany in Group play since 1986, thats when I was born. But it was Germany’s game to win and they just couldn’t convert the opportunites. All the yellow cards and the one important send off of Klose lost it for the German team.
But onto the USA game. As for my predictions for the last game I called the 1-1 draw just not the players who scored (but whos really counting). Today I will say a 2-1 win for the USA. Goals by Altidore and Donovan. But I have to get to work so lets see how this plays out!

Finally watching the Opening World Cup game and what a game. S.Africa deserved the draw here. Mexico has no one else to blame this game on other than themselves. Even that one offsides goal shouldn’t have mattered. They had plenty of opportunities they just missed. So that being said well played Itumeleng Khune who I feel kept S. Africa in it the whole time (minus that goal by Marquez. That wasn’t his fault just poor defending on the SA defense side).

Now onto US v. Eng. I say Altidore puts one in and sorry T. Howard everybody lets 1 in and I give the goal to…….drum roll please……………none other than my favorite player Sir Wayne Rooney.

That’s my prediction, but hey what do I know. I’ve only played soccer since I was 4.
